This week in math we are studying Addition and Subtraction. On Friday the students came in and got a new name for the day. They were all a double math equation, the name tag would say 3+3 and other students would call him/her six. It amazed me how fast they picked it up and how much fun they had!

 Sight Word hangman.
 Reviewing time on the iPad!
I wiped my old iPhone and added educational apps. Mikey is listening to a story during A.R time.

New Center- Building sight words out of clay.
To spice Phonics up we pull 'fun sticks,' This stick said 'Cowboy.'  Students have to turn their chairs around, lasso, and pull in the word g-o-e-s!
In Science we are studying the seasons of the year. Cami helped me demonstrate how seasons change depending on the amount of sunlight we get.
Sight Word Walk- Students have to say the sight word when they line up.

This week ELAR looks like this.
In Science we are continuing our study on the Seasons of the year. In Math we are practicing addition and subtraction in story problems. Please continue to help out with our class service project. Bring items to donate to Women's Protective Services.Spelling Contract 14 Let's Go to the Moon!
