My first blog!

I want to start off by saying I have noooo clue how to do a blog. I thought this would be a great way for you to see what your child is doing in the classroom. I know you ask 'how was school today?' 'good.' SOO let me elaborate on it! You can see our fun activities and have access to homework.
So what are we studying- Math- Addition, Subtraction, and Fact families. Science- Magnets, and other forces, ELAR- Sequencing, Plural nouns.

Math:  Addition with cards: The students would turn over two cards and add them together.

Science: Forces/Energy The student had to transfer their energy to the pom-pom. The first one across the line won!

                                                       Math: Shaving Cream addition

ELAR- 'There Was An Old Lady That Swallowed a Fly' Story retelling

ELAR: The kids taught me 'How to Blow a Bubble' - Sequencing
Our reading story this week is Dr. Seuss- We are working on Accuracy
Sight Words: after, read, draw, was, pictures, write
Spelling words: go, hi, am, get, him, ten, best, help, pick, black, you, what
Sentences: 1. Get a can of clams.  2. What can you print?
This is the last week to reach their AR goal. READ, READ, READ!
