After reading the Lorax
Story Structure
Fractions- Students shook the beans then had to make fractions out of them. Example: 3 out of 10 were red.
We made Oobleck!
Getting personal with fractions. The kids answered the questions and then we made fractions out of their answers.
Mystery Tube- The students had to ask questions each day about what was in the mystery tube. On Friday the students guessed that it was Silly Bands!

Sight Words,
Spelling Words. I will be out on Thursday for a Math meeting, the students will have a sub. We are finishing up Fractions this week in math. The test is on Wednesday. Thursday the kids will review topics such as, even-odd, subtraction, and skip counting. In science we are finishing our plant study.
